Scholarship description

The Woodlands FFA Booster Club is offering their Woodlands FFA Booster Club Scholarship Award opportunity to qualified students as a way of helping them accomplish their educational dreams.

Scholarships must be used within four months immediately following high school graduation.  If the recipient is not planning to use the scholarship during the first fall semester following graduation, he/she must notify TWHS FFA Booster Club and the FFA Agriculture Department, in writing, of the semester in which the scholarship will be used.  If such written notice is not received by August 1st, of the graduating year, the scholarship will be forfeited.

Prior to the issuance of monies for the first semester, the following must be submitted to the Booster Club President and Scholarship Committee Chair:

1.      Senior Picture

2.      Proof of enrollment in a College, University, or accredited Trade School program with a minimum of three hours in a summer semester, or six hours in a spring or fall semester, including scheduled fees.

In accordance with the Conroe Independent School District Scholarship Guidelines for All Parent Organizations” and as recommended by UIL, all scholarship checks will be made out to the accredited school and mailed directly to the financial office of the accepting school.  Please provide the needed information to the Treasurer of the Booster Club.
